Nikolaos Stefanatos
Head of Wind Energy Department, Centre for Renewable Energy Sources and Saving

Nikolaos Stefanatos is the Head of the Wind Energy Department of the Center for Renewable Energy Sources & Saving (CRES). He is a Mechanical Engineer by Degree and holds a Phd Diploma in experimental wind energy aerodynamics. His responsibilities include planning and coordination for a group of 16 scientific and technical staff working on a wide range of wind energy R&D, testing and measurement, dissemination, training and technical consulting for state and private parties. As Technical Manager of the Laboratory for wind turbine testing of CRES which is accredited under ISO 17025, has undertaken numerous testing and measurements contracts in Greece, Spain, Italy, Cyprus, Turkey, Germany. As representative of CRES participates in the Council of Members of MEASNET, and the EERA-JP Wind program.
