Dr Economou has been the President at the Center of Renewable Energy Sources and Savings (CRES) since September 2019. He holds a Ph.D. in Applied Sciences from Catholic University of Leuven (BE) and an Engineering Diploma from National Technical University of Athens (GR), Mining and Metallurgical Eng. Department. He has worked in Research Centres, as Business Consultant and in Industry for more than 30 years, in Greece, Canada, Belgium and the United Arab Emirates. Dr. Economou has more than 40 publications and articles in the fields of Energy, Environmental Technologies and Materials Science and Engineering.
