She holds a degree on Law and a Specialization on Law and economics. She is a publicist journalist. She has been Lecturer at the Master of I and II levels in tourism and economic development at the University of Pisa. She held training courses on active participation: the new role of citizens after the Reform of the Title V of the Italian Constitution. She has carried out studies on the implementation of the Reform of Title V of the Italian Constitution, and studies with Formez about streamlining of community procedures. She was the Representative, in Rome, of the Tuscany Region for the relationships with the Italian Government, the Italian Parliament, and the Referent of the Italian State-Regions and Unified Conferences. She was Vice-president of European Small Island Network and Director of the European GECT Archimed Territorial Cooperation Group. She is General Secretary of ANCIM (the Italian Association of Small Islands Municipalities).
