Deadline: 30/11/21 (Ended)

Becoming a green ports is one of the most relevant challenge that the port authorities in the world are currently facing. This means to lead to a more sustainable model where the integration of renewable energy plays a significant role. The current infrastructure of the ports can be used for this purpose, helping to reduce the CO2 emissions in the ports.

The cost of Valencia Is not characterised by the largest wind or wave energy resource in the coast of Spain. On this sense, harnessing the infraestructure of the port will be key for reducing the installation costs. TYPSA has been pioneered in the design of renewable energy plants within the ports, and we are looking for new technologies that permit to harness the wider and vast renewable resources of the port (waves, wind or solar).
