Pedro Mayorga started his career as Manufacturing and Maintenance engineer in Delphi Automotive Systems (General Motors) before joining an Energy Research Center (ITE in Valencia). In 2007 he founded EnerOcean S.L.

He is author of a significant number of technical papers and reports, as well as inventions in the marine energy field.
