Artwork statement: Combining a traditional medium, oil paint on canvas, and a computer generated image to create what we imagine and hope that the Cyprus sea could look like in the near future. Our vision is to present our artwork being physically hanging on a wall like a conventional painting but having the moving offshore Wind Turbines projected onto its surface. The painting/ canvas part of the work symbolizes/ shows what already exists where the projection, transforms the image into an image of the future for Cyprus. For this submission we put the two images together digitally.
